Electrical Design Engineer – (ABB Panel Builder)
المؤهلات
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design.
- Proficiency in ABB components (e.g., breakers, contactors, VSDs, soft starters, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with ABB low-voltage switchgear systems (e.g., System pro E power, MNS, IS2, etc.).
- Proficiency in ABB software (e.g., DocWin, E-Configure, Relion PCM600, etc.).
- Proficient in electrical CAD tools such as AutoCAD and EPLAN.
- Familiarity with international standards like IEC, UL, and NEC.
المسؤوليات
- Design low-voltage panel boards using ABB standards and components.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams (MDB, ATS, Power Factor, MCC, etc.).
- Select appropriate electrical components such as ABB breakers, contactors, soft starters, VSDs, etc., to meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with ABB guidelines, relevant electrical codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of panels when needed.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all design stages and revisions.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Stay updated with the latest ABB technologies, product developments, and industry trends.
